Shelley Ware is currently a regular ‘Morning Broad’ on Broad radio talking life, covering women’s issues and current events. She also hosts her Facebook show Ware2Now? where she shares, everyday people’s stories. Shelley is a member of the award winning Outersanctum Podcast and writes a fortnightly Opinion and AFL column for the Koori Mail. She has over two decades of live television experience, including Channel 7’s ‘Live and Kicking’ and hosting her own show AFL.com’s ‘Colour of Your Jumper.’ She is well known as part of the groundbreaking NITV-SBS football program Marngrook, which was nominated for two Best Sports Program at the Logies.

Shelley is a regular corporate speaker to large and small groups. Speaking about the impacts of racism, her advocacy work in women’s health, racism, online safety and prevention of violence against women. She also speaks to her time in AFL media, diversity in the workplace, females in sport, embedding Aboriginal History and Culture into classrooms and reconciliation, she is a dynamic and powerful presenter.

Also an experienced teacher, Shelley is passionate about embedding Aboriginal history and culture into classrooms around Australia. Shelley writes curriculum on the national level and she consults closely with staff and leadership at a school level through professional development days and staff meetings. She also visits schools, running workshops and lessons in Aboriginal art, histories and cultures in classrooms around Australia. Shelley is currently an education consultant, that travels Australia working in schools, presenting at teacher conferences and in the corporate sectors.
